Gracie’s Glitz & Glam

Hello my fellow fashion lovers and shopaholics! I wanted to come online to chat about all things fashion and what looks I’ve been coming up with this semester in college. A little while back for my 21st birthday, I wanted to go all out. So naturally I chose to go all out early 2000’s style. I love the fashion, style, and just overall aesthetic of the early 2000’s. From the overuse of the color pink, the fluffy heels, the glitter, denim, and the bling, the early 2000’s style is truly iconic. I’ve always been obsessed with this era’s vibes and I couldn’t wait to play around with it in my own type of style.

For my birthday extravaganza, I decided to pay tribute to the ultimate early 2000’s style icon… Paris Hilton. I wanted my look for my birthday celebration to be fun, glitzy, glamorous, and of course pink. This look was so much fun to plan and to wear! Below is my birthday look:

For this fit, I first picked out the main piece: the dress. This satin hot pink dress was just what I was looking for during my long search. This dress even had some blingy connecting chains on the back of it which gave it an even more Paris Hilton effect. This dress immediately caught my eye because it was so fun and just had that early 2000’s vibe. I got this satin dress from Forever 21. Here’a a satin dress similar to mine. Second, I picked out this glitzy, rhinestone chain belt. I thought this was the perfect accessory to make this look even more early 2000’s. I got this belt from a boutique called Pataya. The good thing about this belt is that I can wear it with so many different types of fits. This belt will make any fit look more glamorous and give it a more “boujee” feel to it. Third, I added in the rhinestone clips in my hair to match with the blingy theme of this look I had going on. Lastly, to finish the outfit off I wore a pair of white boots that aren’t pictured. I got my white boots online from Nasty Gal.

I absolutely loved putting this look together and wearing it out on the town for my birthday celebrations! I think this look is perfect for a party, a nice dinner, an LA vacation, or even a halloween party. I hope this inspires others to put together their favorite early 2000’s inspired look as well and remember to have fun with it! Have fun shopping and I’ll chat with ya’ll soon my fellow fashionistas! Logging off the chat ! xoxo
